GCSE Business (AQA 8132)

This course is designed to enable students to understand business process and what a business needs to do in order to be successful. The course begins with the study of different types of business and how they are classified, then looks at the internal structure to understand the role and responsibilities of different departments, such as marketing, finance and HR. 

Since Information Technology is such a key aspect of business success, students will be expected to design and carry out a range of business tasks and to solve problems using IT equipment.

The AQA GCSE Business course covers six areas of study which are assessed across two examination papers:
